Pick the Fields Clean 2008

Pick the Fields Clean

Greetings!

With Casey and Hannah long gone on winter adventures,
I'm left a bit lonely out here on these chilly November afternoons. The good news
though is that the warmth has left a decent amount of good looking produce in the
fields. All it needs, apart from a bath, is a good home to go to. This is where
you come in. You are invited to come out this upcoming Sunday and Monday to pick
 and take home as much produce as you can handle, process, and stand to pick in
the cold, rainy weather. Tuesday, the manure hits the fields, and the growing season
is officially done. We still have good amounts of:

* spinach
* rutabagas
* turnips
* arugula(a
bit frost damaged)
* mustards
* radishes
* broccoli florets(small
side shoots)
* and a few other crops here and there.
I'llbe out here starting at 8am Sunday and all day Monday. No need to RSVP, but you
should call for directions if you don't know where to go. Call Tim @ 262-951-0794,
or send tim@lotfotl.com an email. We can provide boxes and bags. Bring yourself,
 some water to drink, gloves, parkas, or whatever you think you'll need.
Thanks again for a wonderful season, and hopefully we'll see you soon!

Sincerely,

tim huth
